Sandbox and lock Android to make it safe and secure for kids with Play Safe

As a concerned parent, You must be be worried when your kids use your smartphone. Who hasn't? But, it's impossible to trust your toddler to stay within a designated app and not explore. Enter Play Safe , it is an Android app that that gives your kids a sandbox, allows you to set a predefined list of apps your child can access which ensures that they can play, well, safe. The setup process walks you through selecting approved apps for your child, along with how to unlock the app once your child is done. Right now, you press and hold on the Play Safe logo for 5 seconds to exit the app. When you want to give your young one a turn with the phone, you just run Play Safe, then rest easy in the knowledge that he or she won’t be able to do anything but run the apps you’ve sanctioned. Intex Avatar 3D touch dual SIM mobile with 2D to 3D converter in India

The Intex Avatar 3D touch mobile phone recently hit the shores of India.  Bearing a 2.8-inch stereoscopic display that requires 3D glasses (bundled) to view the 3D content, the Intex Avatar also features a one-touch 2D image/video to 3D convertor.  The Intex Avatar is also a dual-SIM device, of the GSM-GSM type .   This mobile device is accompanied by a free pair of 3D glasses for users to view the converted content in 3D. It also comes along with a 4GB multimedia card which contains 10 pre-installed 3D films and lets owners watch 3D videos at the rate of 30 frames per second. Microsoft Windows 7 Games unveiled Xbox Live integrated to the OS

The phone will have a dedicated games “hub”, showcasing some of the best new mobile gaming titles available, and will feature free demos and multiplayer gaming, as well as pulling in a user’s console-based Xbox Live profile, complete with avatar and achievements. Major publishers and developers, including Gameloft, PopCap and Konami, have thrown their weight behind Microsoft’s mobile gaming platform. Matt Booty, general manager of mobile gaming at Microsoft Game Studio, said the launch of Windows Phone 7 was also the launch of a “major mobile gaming platform” for Microsoft. “Just like we’ve done with the Xbox 360, our charter is to push the envelope and deliver definitive games that maximize the platform,” he said. Sony Planning PSP Phone, Android 3.0 Gaming Platform?

Engadget claims  exclusively reveal Sony Ericsson's plans to introduce a brand new gaming handheld. What's more, the handheld will run "Gingerbread," the codename for Android 3.0, Google's mobile Linux/GNU platform rumored to be deploying already this October. Last time, Sony Ericsson was working on an Android 2.0-based mobile, code named Rachael, and due to be announced later this year. That phone is part of the company's XPERIA series, and includes a Windows Mobile-based X1 model. Engadget describes this obviously more powerful Android 3.0-based model as a cross between the Samsung Captivate and Sony's own ultraportable PSP Go games handheld. Disabling useless processers & Windows features. Windows XP has came with quite a few new but extremly useless and memory hogging features that constantly run in the background and slow your system down. Some of the features that should be disabled are automatic updates, system restore and remote assistance. To disable these 3 fairly useless services... 1. Hit Start 2. Select Control Panel 3. Select Performance and Maintenance 4. Select System 5. Select System Restore Tab 6. Check "Turn off System Restore" 7. Select Automatic Updates tab 8. Select "Turn off autoamtic updates" 9.
