Here are few Tip And Tricks for most Nokia & Sony Ericsson phones in
India running on Symbian S60 OS.

1.) Select Apps by Presasing A number
If there are many applications on list & you find it painful to
scrolling. Then just press the number of application. For example the
left topmost applicaton is 1, the right topmost application is 3, & so
on. If you don't like grid style view, you can move to list view: go
to Options > Change View > List. The number system here is topmost
item 1 & the ones below 2, 3, 4, etc...
2.) Launching Browser Using A single Key
Many phones espacially Nokia ones have a dedicated Internetr Button.
Pess (i) on your phone & hold it for a longer period & you will see
default browser loading up.
3.) Multitasking In Phone
Like Alt + Tab in windows Symbiam based phones hasve this feature as
well. The Menu key which launches the menu of applications, if held
longer period shows a list of open applications currently being run.
4.) Entering A New Line
While we type a message or notes we often want to start a new
paragraph or new line. To do this press 0 thrice.
5.) BitTorrent on the phone
Torrent downloading is no longer limited to your PC. Yes, it's
available for Symbian phones. You need GPRS & WiFi to download
torrents. One such client is Symtorrent; you can download it from
(http://symtorrent.aut.bme.hu/)
6.) Quick Silent Phone
Normally you might be pressing power button to switch between
profiles. Or going to Menu > Tools > Profiles. Here is a hiiden
shortcut press & hold # button. & your phone will go to silent. Repeat
again to go to General profile.
7.) Most emergency number
Note this number 112 it can be used to reach police when don't see
signal in your phone, or you are in a not reachable part where your
operator is not available, or you are on roaming & did not activated
roaming, or even if your phone does not even have a sim card, or yor
phone's keypad is locked, or your phone is locked, or your sim is
