TIPS AND TRICKS FOR WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL

SOME REGISTRY HACKS TO MAKE XP FASTER
(A note before proceeding you should make a Back-Up of Registry before Proceeding)
To open RegistryEditer go to Start-->Run then type "regedit" without inverted commas
Some short names used
HLM:- HKEY LOCAL MACHNE
HCU:- HKEY CURRENT USER
HCR:- HKEY CLASSES ROOT
(1.) Load Applications Faster (Result:- Applications will load faster)
Go to:- HLM\SYSTEMCurrent Controller Set\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\Prefetch Parameters
Open it and find EnablePrefatcher and change it from 3 to 9
(2.) Load Kernel into RAM (Result:- XP boots Super Fast)
Go to:- HLM\System\Current Controller Set\Control\Session\Memory Management
Open it and find DisablePagingExecutive cange it to 1
Note:- For above Registry Edit You Should Atleast Have A 512 MB Of RAM
(3.) Optimize The System Cache (Result:-Large System Cache As a Result Faster Windows)
Go to:- HLM\Software\Microsoft\ Windows\Current Version\Session Manager\Memory Management
Open it and find LArgSystemCache change it to 1
Check and Set DMA (Result:- Fast Hard Disk Working)
Right Click on My Computer Icon--> Properties--> Hardware--> Device Manager
Open It and find 'IDE ATA/ATAPI'-->Primary IDE Channel--> PropertiesAdvanced Properties
Chsnge transfer mode to 'DMA if avaliable'

Setting Enableprefetcher to 9 is a Myth, 3 is the default and optimal.

DisablePagingExecutive and LargSystemCache are also Myths:

Decrapify / Debloat Windows 10 with a Powershell Script

Windows 10 is a decent OS from Microsoft after the disaster known as Windows 8 and 8.1. Although Windows is still better with no Modern UI crap, no ads, minimal telemetry, no Edge to bug you. But Windows 10 is a decent compromise if you want a stable OS with modern features like DirectX 12. As a result trying to Debloat or DeCrapify Windows 10 is getting absurd and as a system admin it is disheartening to see all that performance go to waste on the messed up attempt by Microsoft to do an Appstore and its apps. Fortunately a kind soul who goes by name  Sycne x has worked painstakingly to provide us a simple solution that works considerably well. ffmpeg is a pretty handy tool for format transcoding, basic editing (trimming and concatenation), video scaling, video post-production effects, and standards compliance (SMPTE, ITU). One of the basic requirement of merging or combining two or more videos is a task that can be easily accomplished by using ffmpeg . ffmpeg is a free and open source as well. And the performance is easily on par if not better than most paid software solutions. In order to merge two or more videos follow the steps:-  First copy all video files into a folder. (Make sure you have checked "File name extensions". Next you need to download ffmpeg for Windows from their website . Choose 64bit unless you are using 32 bit version of Windows and select Static. Download the file. It should be a compressed file. Now open the file. And Go to "Bin", there you will find three files. You need to copy ffmpeg to the folder containing video files. Next
