After a massive spam attacks hit Facebook, a new phishing scam has reportedly hit the social networking site. Security firm Sophos Naked Security in its blog claims that the Facebook users are receiving phishing mails, threatening to delete users' account unless they submit valid account details within 24 hours. They further add that the phishing messages accuse the users of breaching Facebook's policy guidelines by irking other Facebook users. The messages then seek personal and financial information including credit card numbers from the users of the social networking site. The phishing e-mails read like this: “LAST WARNING : Your account is reported to have violated the policies that are considered annoying or insulting Facebook users. Until we system will disable your account within 24 hours if you do not do the reconfirmation. Please confirm your account below: [Link Removed] Thanks. By default windows format pen drives with FAT file system, which has it's own limitations. FAT file system cannot store file larger than 4 GB. But nowadays we have transfer files more than 4 GB. The NTFS is more reliable & dosent have these limitations. To format in NTFS do the following:- Plug in your pen drive. Right click on the icon of your pendrive in my computer select Properties. Go to hardware tab. Select your pen drive & click properties button below. Select Policies tab. Select Optimize For Performance. (This trick is already given by me this will increase overall speed of ur pen drive.) Now again click ur pen drive icon in my computer. Select Format. When you connect to a web site your computer sends information back and forth. Some of this information deals with resolving the site name to an IP address, the stuff that TCP/IP really deals with, not words. This is DNS information and is used so that you will not need to ask for the site location each and every time you visit the site. Although Windows XP and Windows XP have a pretty efficient DNS cache, you can increase its overall performance by increasing its size. To increase the speed of your USB Drive. Plug in your USB Drive. Open My Computer, right-click on your USB Drive and choose Properties. Under Hardware, select the USB Drive and choose Properties. In the dialog that Pops up, you'll see that " Optimize for quick removal" is selected by default. Change this to "Optimize for Performance". Remove USB and insert it again. Now try to copy some file into it you will notice a decrease in the time taken to copy.

It is hard to move or copy a file/s or folder/s to specific location. There is a option called "Send to" on context menu but it has some limitation. You can send content through it just few locations like.. My Documents, Floppy Disk etc. If You can add "Copy to" and "Move to" options on Right click(context menu) then it will increase your file/folder transfer facility. You can Copy and Move your content anywhere on your machine through Right click(context menu). I have described a registry trick following here. Both Vista and Windows XP let you take control of preventing a user not to shutdown the machine by editing the group policy. For example if your friend is using your computer and you went somewhere ( and you have still some unsaved document left) and he shutdowns the pc without saving them…you loose a good amount of data. Deep inside the bowels of Windows Vista, there's a secret Administrator account, and it's different from the normal administrator account you most likely have set up on your PC. This Administrator account is not part of the Administrator group. (Confused yet? You should be.) It's a kind of superadministrator, akin to the root account in Unix, and by default it's turned off and hidden. (In describing this hack, we'll always use the capital "A" for the secret Administrator account, and a lowercase "a" for a normal administrator account.) In versions of Windows before Windows Vista, the Administrator account wasn't hidden, and many people used it as their main or only account. Even if you change the setting in the folder options, it will not show the hidden files. So here are the steps to remove that problem and make the hidden files appear as before:- 1) Go to Start --> Run, then type Regedit 2) Navigate to the registry folder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL 3) Find a key called CheckedValue. 4) Double Click CheckedValue key and modify it to 1. This is to show all the hidden files. Now you should be able to view all the hidden files, and also to alter its status from folder options.
